TANČÍRNA ŽIDOVSKÝCH TANCŮ
Israeli folk dances are mainly circle dances to both traditional and modern Israeli music. While the oldest of these date from the early 20th century, new ones are being created to contemporary Israeli music even today, which makes them distinctly different from the folk dances of other nations. By combining the traditions of Jews from different countries around the world, Israeli dances and the music they are danced to are very diverse. During the workshop we will learn and dance several circle dances of different styles and difficulty. And since Israeli dances since their beginnings have been primarily for the entertainment of the dancers, some less
traditional line dances will also be included. Ondřej Novák has been involved in Israeli dances for a long time, he has attended several
seminars for teachers of Israeli dances, and he also devoted himself to them during his year-long stay in Israel. In addition to one-off workshops, he also runs a regular course in Prague
