Readings from the grotesque poems of Christian Morgenstern in a new translation by Martin Hašek.
Martin Hašek studied geodesy and cartography after high school, then briefly studied philosophy at Charles University in Prague. He worked as a geoinformatician and a programmer, he was a keeper of aquarium fish and now he is also a teacher at a secondary school. He is interested in translating from German, many of his texts have been published in magazines. He has so far published in book form the first volume of Christian Morgenstern's collection of grotesque poetry Šibeniční písně Jdujen atd. (Malvern 2023). He lives near Turnov at the foot of Kozákov.
