The Cabinet of Memories is a street theater performance for a single audience member. Is it possible to create a peaceful and intimate moment amid the daily hustle and bustle? In a square, in a park, on the outskirts of the city…? Reality torn from the context of everyday life. The audience member is invited to enter the world of Le Cabaret nomade—they sit down, receive headphones, and a small cabinet slowly opens… The entire performance takes place in public, yet it engages one audience member at a time. Theater for a single audience member (entre-sort) is a genre based on an encounter—an encounter between the actor and the audience member, who become co-creators of a unique moment.
